Patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) who have had a prior stroke are at very high risk of recurrent ischemic stroke. About 40% of these strokes are due to large emboli which result in large cerebral vessel occlusion (LVO). This randomized control trial aims to address this unmet need by testing whether use of bilateral carotid filter implants in addition to OAC will reduce the risk of stroke in AF patients with recent (e.g. within 12 months) ischemic stroke vs. only OAC.

The purpose of this clinical investigation is to collect clinical data about the ProGYNious Mesh based on a prospective clinical investigation. The primary objective is to verify the treatment outcome and success of the ProGYNious mesh implant in pelvic organ prolapse repair. The secondary objective is to confirm the safety, risks, complications and quality of life of ProGYNious as an implant for pelvic organ prolapse repair.

The purpose of this study is to compare how well our research participants heal with two different kind of healing abutments used. One is pre-fabricated, meaning it is made to fit anyone, and the other is customized to fit the subject specifically. Much of what will occur is 'standard of care' meaning it is part of a subject's typical dental treatment and the research team wants to just look at the data for this research study, as well.
