The Effect of Pericapsular Nerve Group Block With Different Local Anesthetic Volumes

Early postoperative pain following shoulder surgery is a significant clinical problem for both patients and orthopedic surgeons. Effective pain control is crucial for improving postoperative comfort and optimizing rehabilitation. Pericapsular nerve group block (PENG) is a regional anesthesia method that has recently gained attention due to its lack of motor block and absence of pulmonary complications. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of PENG block, applied at two different volumes, on postoperative pain and opioid consumption in patients undergoing arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
