Enhancing Renal Graft Function During Donor Anesthesia

Renal transplantation is now recognized as the treatment of choice for patients with end-stage renal disease. An optimum anesthetic regimen should enhance the function and perfusion of the transplanted kidney. The aim of this study is to assess \& compare the effectiveness of 3 different modalities in this respect: Mannitol, Dopamine and adequate hydration.

Study to Examine the Effect of the Diuretic Furosemide on the Plasma Levels of Toxins and the Removal of Toxins from the Blood in Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease

The goal of this observational study is to examine the interaction between the diuretic furosemide and certain toxins called protein-bound uremic toxins (PBUTs) in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The main question it aims to answer is: what is the effect of furosemide on plasma levels of PBUTs in patients with CKD? Besides, the investigators will also look at the effect of furosemide on the excretion of PBUTs via the urine. Participants will be included in the study once they will be prescribed furosemide as part of routine patient care. Before they start with the furosemide treatment, patients will undergo the following: * Blood pressure measurement * Blood sample withdrawal * Urine sample collection * 12-hour urine collection Then, one to four weeks after starting with furosemide treatment, patients will undergo the following: * Blood pressure measurement * Blood sample prior to furosemide intake (Tmin) * Blood sample withdrawal 90 minutes after furosemide intake (Tmax: time at which the highest furosemide plasma level is expected) * Urine sample collection 60-120 minutes after furosemide intake * 12-hour urine collection The investigators expect furosemide to increase plasma levels of PBUTs by decreasing the renal excretion of the toxins.

Endovascular Preparation for Kidney Tranplantation

This national study is a feasibility study. It wants to validate all stages of the endovascular preparation of the iliac axis up to the kidney transplant for patients in whom the installation of a tailor-made endoprosthesis was necessary beforehand. These patients are currently at a therapeutic impasse. This strategy of renal transplantation on an iliac artery endoprosthesis could ultimately give them access to the transplant with an improvement in quality of life and survival, for lower costs of care for the hospital and safety. less social than treatment by hemodialysis

The Outcomes of Living Donor Robotic Assisted Kidney Transplantation

The technology for robot-assisted kidney transplantation (RAKT) has become increasingly advanced, with numerous studies demonstrating comparable outcomes between RAKT surgery and open surgery. This advancement is particularly noteworthy as it extends its suitability to transplant patients with obesity. It will be important to explore the results of robot-assisted kidney transplantation as compared with open surgery or within cohorts.
