Immediate Effect of Kinesiotaping With Rounded Shoulder Posture in University Students

Posture is maintained through the interaction of the musculoskeletal system, visual input, vestibular function, and proprioception to provide optimal balance with minimal energy expenditure. Various factors, including prolonged static sitting, unsuitable work environments, prolonged screen use, and low physical activity levels, may contribute to postural misalignment, particularly in student populations. Rounded shoulder posture is commonly associated with muscle imbalance, altered scapular alignment, pain in the neck and shoulder region, reduced range of motion, and functional limitations. Kinesio taping is a physiotherapy intervention commonly used in orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Proposed effects include facilitation of proper muscular and fascial alignment, enhancement of proprioceptive feedback, and potential improvement in posture and movement quality. However, evidence regarding the immediate effects of kinesio taping on posture-related outcomes in individuals with rounded shoulder posture remains limited. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the immediate effects of kinesio taping on posture, shoulder range of motion, and proprioception in students with rounded shoulder posture.

Effectiveness of Airrosti and TheraBand Exercises on Double-Crossed Syndrome in Smart Phone User's Shoulder

Double-crossed syndrome" refers to a specific alignment of overactive and underactive muscles in the neck, chest, and shoulders. AIRROSTI stands for Applied Integration for the Rapid Recovery of Soft Tissue Injuries. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Airrosti exercises combined with TheraBand exercises in reducing pain and disability in the neck and shoulders. TheraBand exercise programs are commonly used to improve muscle activation. However, research on the effectiveness of AIRROSTI combined with TheraBand exercises for treating Double-Crossed Syndrome among smartphone users is limited, and more evidence is needed to support their effectiveness.

Comparative Effects of Eloda With/Without Muscle Energy Technique in Patient With Quadratus Lumborum Syndrome

The aim of the study is to compare effects Comparison of Pilate exercises with and without whole body vibration on posture, disability and pain in patients with upper cross syndrome. A randomized contro ltrial will beconductedat PESSI. Non-probability convenience sampling will be used, and 62 subjects, age 20-40 years will be allocated into two groupsby the computer generated software after meeting the inclusion criteria. Both groups will receive hot pack for 15-20 minutes and Pilate exercises perform both groups as common treatment.Group A will be treated with Pilate exercisesandGroupB will be treated with Pilate exercise with whole body vibration both groups received two sessions per week for four consecutive weeks by another well trained physical therapist. Session duration for both groups ranged from 55 minutes to 1 hour. 2 sessions for 4 weeks will be given. The outcome measures will be conducted through NPRS, NDI, RSP WAS MEASURED IN SUPINE POSITION AND THEN PML AND TSD and J APP/ software before and after 4 weeks. Data will be analyzed using SPSS software version 26.After assessing normality of data by kolmo-grove test, it will be decided either parametric or non-parametric test will be used within a group or between two groups. Data will be collected at baseline and after 4 weeks of follow up.
