The goals of this observational study are to collect data and ultrasound images using the Philips VeriSight Pro intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) catheter to assess safety and effectiveness and to support development efforts of the VeriSight Pro imaging platform.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether the application of soft foam dressings can reduce the occurrence of surgery-related pressure injuries among patients undergoing cardiac surgery. Specifically, this research aims to investigate differences in pressure injury outcomes before and after the intervention, and to assess the preventive effectiveness of soft foam dressings as an adjunctive skin-protection strategy.

The objective of this observational pilot study is to collect HemoCept device data from subjects undergoing diagnostic right heart catheterization (RHC) procedures.

This registry is being conducted to support ongoing post-market surveillance activities.

SAFE-HEART is a single-centre, randomized controlled trial comparing the safety and efficiency of Apixaban versus Warfarin in the early period (3 months) after repair or bioprosthetics of the mitral and aortic valve cardiac surgery in patients with atrial fibrillation requiring oral anticoagulation.

The safety and efficacy of the Mosaic bioprosthetic heart valves for cardiac valve replacement in the aortic position has been well documented throughout the literature. However, few studies assessing structural valve deficiency, patient outcomes and overall product performance in patients under the age of 65 exists for the Mosaic mitral valve bioprosthetic. This study aims to assess valve efficacy, stability, and post operative outcomes in patients who have received the Mosaic mitral valve prothesis at ProMedica Toledo Hospital and were under the age of 65.

Valvular heart disease (VHD) is a major global health issue. Untreated rheumatic heart disease persists in many regions, preventable with timely care. Higher-income countries face rising calcific valve disease from aging, worsened by VHD complications, like infective endocarditis, resulting in higher morbidity/mortality. Gender disparities in VHD remains understudied, despite inequalities in risks, diagnosis, and treatment. Prevalence varies by gender, but uneven diagnostics and therapies obscure realities. This registry will examine gender disparities from hospital admission to first outpatient follow-up, recruiting both men and women to investigate and report the study objectives.

The aim of this study is to evaluate feasibility, efficacy, and adherence of home-based cardiac rehabilitation with the integration of telemedicine. Several components will be assessed such as quality-of-life, nutritional counseling, maximum metabolic activity (MET's), diabetic management, tobacco cessation, lipid, blood pressure, and psychosocial management. These tasks will be accomplished through concurrent conversations between patients and their therapist's utilizing telemedicine with observed exercise training.

A retrospective and prospective, observational, multicenter cohort study of consecutive patients undergoing transcatheter mitral/tricuspid ViV or ViR procedure with balloon expandable valve across participating sites in Asia-Pacific.

Valves will be taken from hearts donated by organ donors, and implanted into patients who need a new heart valve.

The investigators will compare patients with and without infective ndocarditis undergoing valve surgery and evaluate factors that may help optimise perioperative care of these high-risk patients.
