RISE Ileocecal Valve Functional Reconstruction

The traditional surgical treatment for right-sided colon cancer involves the removal of an important structure, the ileocecal valve, which includes the ileocecal valve. This can lead to problems such as diarrhea and malnutrition in patients. This study reconstructs an artificial ileocecal valve through intraoperative suturing to compensate for the function of the original ileocecal valve. The control group will undergo the routine resection of the right-sided colon, including the ileocecal valve. This is a randomized controlled study. Patients enrolled will be randomly assigned to the experimental group (ileocecal valve reconstruction during surgery) or the control group (no ileocecal valve reconstruction), with no differences in other treatment procedures. After a series of follow-up observations, the research team will analyze the safety and effectiveness of the method of ileocecal valve reconstruction.

A Prospective Cohort Study on Primary Cutaneous Amyloidosis

The aim of this clinical trial is to find out whether the combination of tocilizumab tablets and acitretin capsules is more effective than acitretin capsules alone in treating primary cutaneous amyloidosis. It will also investigate the safety of the combination of tocilizumab tablets and acitretin capsules. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Does the combination of tocilizumab tablets and acitretin capsules relieve the pruritus symptoms of the participants faster and reduce the pruritus score more than acitretin capsules alone? 2. What medical problems will the participants encounter when taking tocilizumab tablets combined with acitretin capsules? The researchers compared the combination of tocilizumab tablets and acitretin capsules with acitretin capsules alone to see if the combination could better treat primary cutaneous amyloidosis without causing serious adverse reactions. Participants will: 1. Take the combination of tocilizumab tablets and acitretin capsules or acitretin capsules alone every day for 16 weeks. 2. Visit the clinic once every 4 weeks for checkups and tests. 3. Observe participants at 4 weeks, 12 weeks and 24 weeks after discontinuation of medication to determine the recurrence status. 4. Collect the visual analogue scale (VAS) scores for pruritus, symptom severity (SCORAD) scores , rash area and severity, treatment response (EASI) scores, dermatological quality of life index (DLQI), and insomnia severity index (ISI) of participants before and after treatment.

The Comparison of Single Catheter and Double Catheter Adrenal Vein Sampling Methods Based on the Upper Limb Approach

Primary Aldosteronism (PA) is a clinical syndrome characterized by the autonomous overproduction of aldosterone by the adrenal cortex's zona glomerulosa, leading to hypertension, elevated aldosterone levels, and suppressed renin activity as the primary manifestations. Studies have shown that the prevalence of PA in an unselected hypertensive population ranges from 5% to 11% , while the prevalence in patients with resistant hypertension is approximately 20% . PA is one of the most common causes of secondary hypertension , and its prevalence increases with rising blood pressure levels. Due to the adverse effects of PA on the heart, arterial walls, and kidneys, it contributes to the occurrence of cardiovascular events, with atrial fibrillation being the most common . In summary, PA is characterized by rapid onset, significant symptoms, obscurity, and severe complications, making early diagnosis and targeted treatment essential for prevention. This study aims to explore a quasi-selected prospective randomized controlled method to compare the clinical efficacy differences between single-catheter and dual-catheter adrenal sampling via the right upper limb approach. The study seeks to clarify the effectiveness and safety of single-catheter sampling from the upper limb, providing a more efficient and cost-effective solution for the subtype diagnosis of patients with Primary Aldosteronism (PA).

Photodynamic Therapy With Hydrogel Dressing for Chronic Wounds

63 patients with chronic infectious wounds were enrolled in the controlled study. They were randomly divided into three groups equally. Group 1 (Grp.1): The patients received hydrogel dressing change at three days intervals. Group 2 (Grp.2): The patients received ALA-PDT treatment at ten days intervals for 4 sessions. Groups 3 (Grp.3): The patients received ALA-PDT at ten days intervals for 4 sessions combined with hydrogel dressing change every three days intervals. The wound healing rate, total effective rate, patient satisfaction, adverse reaction, and recurrence were assessed in all groups.
