Effect of Additional Sural Nerve PRF in Chronic Heel Pain

This observational study aims to compare the effectiveness of pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) treatment applied to the posterior tibial nerve alone versus PRF applied to both the posterior tibial and sural nerves in patients with chronic plantar heel pain. Outcomes will be assessed using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) hindfoot score at baseline, 1 month, and 3 months after treatment.

Direct vs. Seldinger Technique for Ultrasound-Guided Difficult Radial Access in Cardiac Surgery

Radial artery cannulation is a routine procedure for invasive hemodynamic monitoring for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery patients. Although ultrasound (USG) guidance is known to improve success rates, there is limited data comparing the efficacy of the 'Direct' versus 'Seldinger' techniques specifically in patients with anticipated difficult radial access. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of USG-guided Direct cannulation and USG-guided Seldinger techniques in adult patients with anticipated difficult radial arterial cannulation.

Videolaryngoscopic Difficult ıntubation and Glottic View Score: A Multicentre Prospective Study

Background: Videolaryngoscopy has improved glottic visualization and facilitated tracheal intubation. However, difficulties-including failed intubation-still occur. At present, no prospectively derived classification system exists to assess the difficulty of videolaryngoscopic (VL) intubation across both normal and anticipated difficult airways. Additionally, current glottic view grading systems, designed for direct laryngoscopy, may not adequately capture the specific challenges of VL intubation. Objectives: This study aims to: 1. Develop a predictive model for difficult VL intubation in surgical patients with both normal and anticipated difficult airways. 2. Create a glottic view scoring system specifically tailored to videolaryngoscopy. 3. Compare the predictive accuracy of the new scoring system with existing laryngeal view grades in forecasting difficult VL intubation.

Difficult Airway Incidence in Cardiovascular Surgery and a Prediction Model Development

A difficult airway is a clinical condition that occurs when one or more of the components of difficult mask ventilation, difficult laryngoscopy, difficult endotracheal intubation, difficult supraglottic airway device (SGA) placement, and inability to intubate-oxygenate are present. Data concerning incidence of difficult airway in patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery is controversial. Unwanted hemodynamic changes that may occur in patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery, combined with hemodynamic changes caused by underlying cardiac pathologies, may also lead to a physiologically difficult airway situation. Since all these interactions, combined with the hemodynamic changes caused by difficult airway interventions, may lead to catastrophic outcomes, it is vital to predict difficult airway in this patient population.

Femoral and Obturator Nerve Articular Branches Prf

In our clinic, patients undergoing pulsed radiofrequency treatment of the femoral and obturator nerve articular branches under ultrasound guidance for pain management due to hip and groin pain associated with hip osteoarthritis will have the efficacy of these methods on pain compared with the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and Oxford Hip Score (OHS) at 2, 6, 12 weeks.

Lumbar Disc Hernia, Erector Spinae Plane Block, Ilesi

The study is designed as an observational study. Patients who have been treated and completed treatment for lumbar discopathy in our clinic will be followed. Patients will not be divided into groups beforehand, and this will not cause changes to the treatment plan. Patients who have undergone fluoroscopy-guided lumbar interlaminar epidural steroid injection (LESI) and ultrasound-guided lumbar erector spinae plane block (LESP), routinely performed in our clinic for the treatment of back and leg pain due to lumbar disc herniation, will be compared to the effectiveness of these methods on pain at baseline before the procedure and at 2, 6, and 12 weeks afterward using the Visual Analogue Scale for Pain Relief (VAS) and Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). The baseline values will be recorded from the patient files and by request before the start of follow-up.

Posterior Tibial Nerve PRF for Painful Calcaneal Fracture

Patients who underwent pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) treatment of the posterior tibial nerve under ultrasound guidance, which is routinely performed in our clinic for severe heel pain following a calcaneal fracture, were evaluated through interviews. The assessment was conducted using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) for pain and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) score.

US-guided Hydro Dissection vs Fluoroscopy-guided Hydro Dissection for Adhesive Capsulitis

This study aims to evaluate the differences in joint range of motion, Visual Analog Scale (VAS) scores, and the Shoulder Pain and Disability Index (SPADI) outcomes in patients with adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder) who undergo hydrodilatation therapy with either ultrasound (USG) or fluoroscopy guidance, in addition to a suprascapular nerve block.

Transversalis Fascia Plane vs Ilioinguinal and Iliohypogastric Nerve Block for the Treatment of CPIP

The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy of ultrasound (US)-guided transversalis fascia plane block (TFP) and ilioinguinal (II) and iliohypogastric (IH) nerve block in the treatment of chronic post-herniorrhaphy inguinal pain (CPIP) refractory to conservative treatments. For this evaluation, a numerical rating scale (NRS) will be used before and after both interventions.

Relief of Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Symptoms

The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy of caudal epidural steroid injection and caudal epidural pulsed radiofrequency stimulation in the relief of symptoms of lumbar spinal stenosis. This evaluation used the numerical rating scale (NRS) to assess pain relief and the Medication Quantification Scale III (MQS III) to assess the effectiveness of the interventions on medication consumption. The rates of adverse events related to the interventions were also compared.
