Analgesic Effect of TENS-WAA Combined With Tramadol Hydrochloride During Oocyte Retrieval Surgery

This study is a single-centre randomised controlled trial. It aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation based on wrist-ankle acupuncture theory(TENS-WAA) combined with tramadol hydrochloride for analgesia during transvaginal ultrasound-guided oocyte retrieval, by comparing the analgesic effects and the prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting between the TENS-WAA combined with tramadol hydrochloride group (experimental group) and the sham TENS-WAA combined with tramadol hydrochloride group (control group). Participants were randomly assigned to the experimental or control group. The experimental group received percutaneous electrical nerve stimulation based on wrist-ankle acupuncture theory 30 minutes prior to the procedure, at a frequency of 2Hz with current intensity adjusted to the maximum tolerable level.Tramadol hydrochloride 100mg was administered intramuscularly 20 minutes before surgery. The control group received sham stimulation at the lowest intensity under identical conditions. The primary outcome measure was the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Secondary outcome measures included skin conductance response, postoperative nausea scale, and vomiting scale.

Analysis of the Analgesic Mechanism of TENS-WAA During Non-anesthetized Colonoscopy Using EEG-fNIRS System

This study is a single-center, randomized controlled trial aiming to evaluate the analgesic mechanism of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation based on Wrist-Ankle Acupuncture (TENS-WAA) during unsedated colonoscopy using EEG-fNIRS technology to assess neural activity in brain regions associated with pain perception. Sixty patients aged 18-75 years, with stable cardiopulmonary function and a baseline visual analog scale (VAS) pain score \<3, will be enrolled and randomly allocated into the intervention and control groups. The intervention group will receive TENS stimulation based on the Wrist-Ankle Acupuncture theory 10 minutes before the colonoscopy, with a frequency of 2 Hz and adjustable current intensity ranging from 1 to 9 mA. The control group will receive minimal-intensity sham stimulation under identical conditions. All participants will wear EEG-fNIRS devices to monitor neural activity in key pain-related brain areas, including the prefrontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex, motor cortex, and parietal cortex. Primary outcomes include EEG-fNIRS data, while secondary outcomes are VAS scores at the four colonic bends, colonoscopy duration, and the correlation between EEG-fNIRS signals and pain perception. Statistical analyses will include multivariable linear regression, generalized estimating equations, and mixed-effects models to investigate the analgesic effects and neural mechanisms of TENS-WAA. This study seeks to provide innovative pain management strategies for patients undergoing unsedated colonoscopy and further explore the neuroregulatory potential of TENS-WAA technology.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Synchronized with Motor Task Training for Post-Stroke Rehabilitation

The goal of this clinical trials is to investigate the effectiveness of individualized online repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in enhancing upper limb motor rehabilitation during the subacute and chronic phase of stroke. It will also learn about the safety of individualized online rTMS intervention methods. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does rTMS synchronized with motor training improve motor rehabilitation in patients with the ability to induce motor evoked potentials(MEPs)? Dose individualized rTMS synchronized with motor training improve motor rehabilitation in patients without the ability to induce MEPs? Researchers will compare online rTMS to offline and sham stimulation in patients with MEPs to see if online rTMS works to alleviate motor dysfunction in preliminary trials. And compare individualized online rTMS to non-individualized online rTMS and sham in patients without MEPs to see if individualized online rTMS works to alleviate motor dysfunction in Randomized, double-blinded, and controlled trials. Participants will: randomized to one group acoording to the MEP condition of each person; receive rTMS treatment for 10 days, with 5 working days per week for a total of two weeks; receive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and electroencephalogram (EEG) evaluations before and after the entire treatment; conduct scales and MEP assessment one day before the treatment, as well as one day, one month, and three months after the treatment.
