The study purpose is to evaluate whether early surgical fixation of upper arm fractures in elderly patients' age 65 years and older improves patient functional and psychological outcome scores compared to the standard of care with non-operative management.

Elderly patients strength and function, specifically the ability to rise from a seat after either operative or non operative treatment of an mayo type 2 olecranon fracture.

A multi-center, randomized control trial comparing the two standard of care surgical treatments for CMC arthritis ; trapezial excision with or without soft tissue interposition and /or ligament reconstruction (LRTI) versus the suture button suspension arthroplasty (SBS). Patient reported outcomes will be collected at 6 and 6 weeks, 3, 6, and 12 months.

The study will investigate the shortening and collapse of pertrochanteric fractures following surgical management with the TFN-Advanced nailing system. The focus will be on comparing radiographic assessments of nails which have been statically locked versus dynamically locked. This is a randomized control study with the initial invention being randomized to either statically locking or dynamically locking. For a two-month period, all eligible patients will receive the randomized allocated treatment, then treatment will switch to the alternate treatment for the next two months and will continue to alternate treatments for two-month periods until study enrollment has completed.
