Prospective Phase II Clinical Study of Stereotactic Body Proton Therapy (SBPT) for Lung Cancer

This study included patients with early-stage lung cancer cT1-3N0M0, stage IA-IIB (American Joint Committee on Cancer eighth edition staging, AJCC 8th ) who were inoperable or refused surgery. They were divided into peripheral type and central type according to the tumor location and received radical Stereotactic Body Proton Therapy (SBPT) for Early-Stage Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. The prescribed dose for patients with peripheral lung cancer is 48-60Gray(Gy) (Relative Biological Effectiveness, RBE)/4-6 fractions, and for patients with central lung cancer, the prescribed dose is 50-70Gy(RBE)/10-15 fractions. After treatment, follow-up visits will be conducted to observe short-term and long-term efficacy, adverse reactions and patient quality of life.

A Multicenter, Prospective, Phase III Clinical Study of Proton Intensity-modulated Radiotherapy Versus Photon Intensity-modulated Radiotherapy for Untreated Non-metastatic Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Proton therapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma can reduce radiotherapy-related toxic reactions, and some retrospective studies have found that proton therapy improves the survival of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. However, high-level prospective clinical evidence is still lacking. This study aims to investigate the efficacy and side effects of proton therapy compared with photon intensity-modulated radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma through a multicenter, prospective, phase III clinical trial, providing more high-quality evidence-based medical evidence for proton therapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Proton Therapy for Recurrent Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

The above studies show that most of the supportive evidence for the reduction of toxicity and improvement of efficacy of proton therapy for recurrent Nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) comes from various observational and retrospective studies, lacking high-level evidence-based medical evidence. The conduct of this study will explore the safety and efficacy of intensity-modulated proton radiotherapy for recurrent NPC and provide more high-quality evidence-based medical evidence for proton therapy of recurrent cancer.

Effects of Music Therapy on Psychological States Among Cancer Patients Undergoing MRI Scans and a Relevant Mediator

The primary objective of this study is to examine the effects of a music therapy protocol on improving anxiety, symptom distress, and relaxation among cancer patients who are going through MRI scanning. Physiological data, such as pulse rates and respiration rates will be collected. Furthermore, data about scanning efficiency will be collected to assess if scanning efficiency is affected by the protocol implementation. The secondary study objective is to assess whether or not there is a relationship between patient attention to music during the intervention process and the changes in anxiety, symptom distress, and relaxation.
