Dental varnishes are commonly used to relieve dentin hypersensitivity by forming a protective film that occludes dentinal tubules and reduces fluid flow. This clinical investigation aims to compare the desensitizing effect of a fluoride containing varnish with a fluoride free placebo varnish. Primary and secondary objectives include evaluating short and long term reductions in dentinal hypersensitivity, assessing patient reported outcomes and daily experiences, and monitoring the varnish's tolerability and safety.

The overall aim of this clinical investigation is to assess the clinical performance and safety of composite restorations cured with fast curing mode (5 seconds with 2000 mW/cm²) in primary molars.

This investigation will be a randomized, prospective, longitudinal clinical trial to study the clinical performance of a new monolithic, zirconia material with shade, translucency and material graduation for chairside CAD/CAM crowns. The restorations will be luted either with a self-adhesive luting material or a conventional cement. The crowns will be evaluated for a period of two years.
