Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) by REGEND007 Cell Therapy

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the third leading cause of death worldwide with the characterization of obstructed airflow. In a large number of patients, diffusion function is impaired along with the progression of disease. REGEND007 cell therapy, comprised of airway basal cells with ability to regenerate lung tissue, is promising to COPD treatment. A prospective, single-arm, dose-escalation exploratory clinical study to evaluate the safety, tolerability and preliminary efficacy of different doses of REGEND007 cell therapy administered by intravenous infusion in the treatment of COPD, and to recommend appropriate treatment doses for subsequent clinical studies.

A Study of REGEND003 on Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

REGEND003, which consists of human kidney progenitor cells, demonstrates promising potential in repairing kidney injury. The purpose of this study is to assess the saftey and tolerability of REGEND003 on patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Chronic Kidney Disease. It is an exploratory study with multi-centered, randomized, controlled, single-blinded, dose-escalated designs.

Treatment of Pediatric Bronchiolitis Obliterans by Airway Basal Stem Cells

Bronchiolitis obliterans (BO) is a chronic lung disease which was initiated with injury of the bronchiolar epithelium and resulted in nonuniform luminal obliteration or narrowing. Among children, the most common form of BO is post-infectious BO with a lack of treatment guidelines or standard therapy. In this study, an open, single-armed study is performed to preliminarily evaluate the safety and efficacy of airway basal stem cells on treatment of pediatric BO.
