The Relationship Between Oxytocin Massage in Mothers With Insufficient Milk Production in the Early Postpartum Period and Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy and Milk Let-down Reflex: A Randomized Controlled Study

This randomized controlled trial aims to evaluate the effects of oxytocin massage on breastfeeding self-efficacy and the milk ejection reflex among mothers experiencing insufficient milk supply in the early postpartum period. Insufficient milk supply is a common issue often linked to maternal stress, which can inhibit oxytocin release and negatively impact the milk ejection reflex and the mother's confidence in breastfeeding. By applying oxytocin massage to the thoracic paravertebral region, this study seeks to stimulate oxytocin release non-pharmacologically. The primary objective is to determine whether this intervention improves physiological milk flow and enhances maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy compared to routine postpartum care.

The Effect Of Color Rotation Technique Training On İnsülin Self-management İn Diabetic Patients.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease characterized by impaired carbohydrate, protein, and lipid metabolism, resulting from a deficiency of insulin hormone secreted by the pancreas and/or the body's inability to utilize it even when sufficient insulin is secreted. As a frequently observed chronic disease, diabetes is a significant public health problem; if left uncontrolled, it can lead to serious complications and negatively impact quality of life.Individual management of treatment is crucial for successful treatment and glycemic control in diabetes. Due to the complexity of diabetes management related to insulin use, diabetics require greater self-care skills. Nurses play a crucial role in developing desired self-management behaviors in individuals with diabetes, supporting them, and meeting their needs.

Turkish Version of the Pain Metacognitions Questionnaire

Pain-related thoughts and beliefs play an important role in how individuals experience and cope with chronic pain. Metacognitions about pain, such as beliefs about the uncontrollability or harmfulness of pain-related thoughts, may influence emotional distress and pain-related outcomes. The Pain Metacognitions Questionnaire was developed to assess these beliefs; however, a validated Turkish version is not currently available. The aim of this study is to translate the Pain Metacognitions Questionnaire into Turkish and to evaluate its validity and reliability in adults with chronic non-cancer pain. This observational study will include adult individuals experiencing chronic pain for at least three months. Data will be collected using self-report questionnaires administered in a single assessment session. The findings of this study are expected to provide a reliable and valid measurement tool for assessing pain-related metacognitions in Turkish-speaking populations and to support future clinical and research applications in chronic pain management.

Physical Fatigue, Compassion Fatigue, and Quiet Quitting in Physiotherapists

Physiotherapists are exposed to both physical and emotional demands due to the nature of their profession. Repetitive physical workload, prolonged standing, patient handling, and continuous interaction with patients may contribute to physical fatigue and compassion fatigue. These factors may negatively affect work engagement and lead to a phenomenon known as quiet quitting, which refers to reduced psychological involvement in work without formally leaving the job. The aim of this study is to examine levels of physical fatigue and compassion fatigue among physiotherapists working in Türkiye and to investigate their association with quiet quitting tendencies. This observational, cross-sectional study will include physiotherapists actively working in public or private healthcare settings. Data will be collected using validated self-report questionnaires administered online and face-to-face. Understanding the relationship between occupational fatigue and quiet quitting may help inform strategies to improve well-being, job satisfaction, and sustainability in the physiotherapy workforce.

The Effect of Haptonomy Practice on Body Functionality Appreciation and Childbirth Self-Efficacy in Pregnant Women

Study Type and Aim: This clinical study aims to examine the effects of haptonomy practices on appreciation of bodily functionality and childbirth self-efficacy among healthy pregnant women. The study seeks to determine whether haptonomy can enhance these two outcomes. Key Research Questions: Do haptonomy practices increase appreciation of bodily functionality in pregnant women? Do haptonomy practices increase childbirth self-efficacy in pregnant women? Comparison: Researchers will compare an intervention group receiving haptonomy sessions with a control group receiving only routine prenatal care to evaluate the effects of the intervention. Participants will: Participants will provide written informed consent to take part in the study. Pregnant women in the intervention group will attend four haptonomy sessions, each lasting approximately 45 minutes and held at 7-day intervals. Sessions will include practices to enhance body awareness, relaxation techniques, connecting with the baby, and affirmations supporting bodily functionality and childbirth self-efficacy. Pregnant women in the control group will receive routine prenatal care and follow-up only. All participants will complete pretest and posttest measures assessing appreciation of bodily functionality and childbirth self-efficacy. Keywords: Haptonomy, Vaginal birth, Pregnancy, Prenatal care, Body functionality appreciation, Birth self-efficacy

Internet-Based EMDR Flash Intervention for Test Anxiety in University Students

The aim of this study is to investigate whether an Internet-based EMDR Flash intervention can help reduce exam anxiety among university students. Participants will utilize the online SKY-Flash program and report their levels of exam anxiety at pre-intervention, post-intervention, and follow-up assessments. In addition, the study will collect feedback regarding participants' overall experiences with the program. The primary objective is to determine whether SKY-Flash constitutes a practical and effective approach to reducing exam anxiety among students, while also exploring their perceptions of the intervention.

Kinesio Taping for the Knee and Ankle: Acute Impact on Balance, Proprioception, and ACL Risk

This study aims to evaluate and compare the acute effects of Kinesio taping applied to the knee and ankle on balance, proprioception, and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury risk using the Landing Error Scoring System (LESS). Designed as a randomized crossover trial, the study will include 24 healthy volleyball athletes with at least 5 years of experience. All participants will receive both ankle and knee taping interventions, separated by a one-week washout period. Assessments will be conducted at four time points: before and after each taping. Outcome measures include the Y-Balance Test, proprioception tests, and LESS.

The Effect of Gardening Activities on Anxiety and Psychosocial Symptoms of Hospitalized Children

The experience of hospitalization in childhood can often lead to traumatic consequences. Various practices (play, art therapy, music therapy, etc.) are used to help children cope with this process. In recent years, attention has been drawn to nature-based approaches in addition to existing practices. Within the scope of this approach, this study was planned in a parallel group (experimental-control) randomized controlled experimental design to determine the effect of garden activities on anxiety levels and psychosocial symptoms of hospitalized children aged 6-12 years. Hypotheses of the study H1: The gardening activities program applied to hospitalized children; H1a: There is an effect on children's anxiety. H1b: There is an effect on psychosocial symptoms of children. In this direction, the population of the study will consist of children between the ages of 6-12 in the children's ward of University Research and Application Hospital. The sample size determined as a result of G\*power analysis was found as control (18) and intervention (18). The research will be conducted between September 2024 and June 2025. 'Child Descriptive Information Form', "Child Follow-up Form", "Child Anxiety Scale-Conditioning" and "Psychosocial Symptoms Diagnostic Scale for Hospitalized Children" will be used for data collection. The data collection process consists of three stages: pre-intervention period, intervention period and post-intervention period. Children in the intervention group will have three sessions of gardening activities within the scope of the 'Gardening Activities Program' during their hospitalization. Children in the control group will receive services within the scope of the routine treatment and nursing care protocol of the clinic during hospitalization.
