Placebo-Controlled Trial of IFx-Hu2.0 Followed By Pembrolizumab In Checkpoint Inhibitor Naïve Participants With Advanced Or Metastatic Merkel Cell Carcinoma

This Phase 2/3, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial will evaluate the Objective Response Rate (ORR) of IFx-Hu2.0 as an adjunctive therapy to pembrolizumab in adult participants (≥18 years) with advanced or metastatic Merkel Cell Carcinoma. A total of 118 participants will be randomized to receive either IFx-Hu2.0 or placebo via intralesional injection in a single lesion, followed by pembrolizumab.

IFx-Hu2.0 As An Adjunctive Therapy To Pembrolizumab In Advanced Or Metastatic Merkel Cell Carcinoma (MCC)

This Phase 1, multicenter, open-label trial will assess the safety and feasibility of IFx-Hu2.0 as adjunctive therapy to pembrolizumab in adult patients (≥18 years) with non-cutaneous Merkel Cell Carcinoma. Nine subjects will receive IFx-Hu2.0 as a visceral lesion injection in a single lesion followed by pembrolizumab.

Expanded access requests for IFx-Hu2.0 may be considered for the treatment of adult patients (greater than or equal to 18 years of age) with stage III through IV cutaneous melanoma, advanced Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC), or advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) who have failed all available treatment options.
