Preoperative Dexamethasone Injection to Improve Local Anesthesia Success in Endodontic Treatment

This study aims to determine whether giving a single dose of 4mg dexamethasone before root canal treatment can reduce the amount of pain patients experience during the procedure . Patients diagnosed with symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis requiring endodontic treatment will be enrolled. Participants will receive either dexamethasone or placebo before treatment , and pain during the procedure will be measured using a Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) . The findings may help improve pain management strategies during root canal treatment .

This Study Aims to Compare the Efficacy and Safety of Lumateperone and Cariprazine in Patients With Bipolar I Depression Using Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) and Clinical Global Impression Bipolar Severity Scale (CGI-BP-S) and Recording Treatment Emergent Adverse Effects.

This study aims to compare the efficacy and safety of lumateperone and cariprazine as adjuncts in patients with depression associated with bipolar I using standardized efficacy assessment tools such as the Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) and Clinical Global Impression bipolar severity scale (CGI-BP-S) and recording treatment emergent adverse effect. Participants will undergo baseline assessment on day 0 using these scales. Follow-up assessments using MADRS and CGI scales will be conducted at Day 15, Day 30 and Day 45. Safety analysis will be performed for all participants who receive at least one dose of study medication. Vitals and treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs) will be recorded at every visit

Distolingual Infiltration Verses Conventional Nerve Block in Mandibular Third Molar Extraction

This randomized controlled trial will compare the effectiveness of adding distolingual infiltration to conventional inferior alveolar and buccal nerve blocks for mandibular third molar extraction. A total of 120 patients will be allocated into two groups. Pain during flap elevation and bone guttering will be assessed using the Visual Analogue Scale.

Efficacy of Pure Honey Dressing in Contrast to Alvogyl in the Resolution of Dry Socket

Dry socket, or Alveolar Osteitis, is the most common complication that can follow a tooth extraction. Over the years, various approaches have been employed to expedite the healing process and alleviate the associated symptoms. Among these, Alvogyl has been the most commonly used dry socket dressing all over the globe. However due to Alvogyl's potential side effect of causing a foreign body reaction \& ultimately necrosis of the alveolar bone if left in the socket along with its high cost, scientists have sought to develop new techniques. Among them, Honey dressing has heralded promising properties in facilitating the resolution of dry socket, thus opening the window of a side-effect free natural viable alternative to Alvogyl. In this research, we aim to compare the efficacy of pure Honey as a dry socket dressing in comparison to Alvogyl.
