Teeth loss are usually associated with alterations of extraction sockets result in obviously absorbed alveolar ridges and are often accompanied with soft tissue atrophy such as narrow keratinized tissue and a shallow vestibule. Lack of peri-implant keratinized tissue is a potential risk to peri-implant diseases. Although the role of width of KM in maintaining peri-implant health is a controversial topic, the majority of high-level evidence has suggested that a minimum KM width (KMW) of 2 mm around the dental implants is critical to maintain peri-implant health and the long-term survival of dental implants.

Commercially pure (CP) titanium is the gold standard to produce dental implants because it has a huge volume of scientific publications over a period of more than 50 years, it is cheap and simple to produce (i.e., making dental implants economically "affordable") and comes in numerous specitic designs of screws tor various indications. That is why more than 95% of the implant market 5 dominated by titanlum. However, there is an innovation trend to manufacture implants from more inert and biocompatible materials. Ceramic implants represent a valuable alternative for expanding the patient base of clinicians, especially in cases with challenging aesthetic demand. Furthermore, there has been a significant increase in the number of patients requesting metal-free dentistry or bio-holistic implant treatments. In the past, ceramics were often branded as "inferior" quality due to its reputation as being brittle but the growing volume of scientific publications specifically an zirconia are demonstrating that lt is comparable in fracture-strength with titanium implants. There is a clear market niche for zirconia implants, especially in cases of: * Aesthetic reconstructions in the anterior region, especially in patients with a thin gingival biotype * Gingival recessions where a white colored implant is a great advantage * For patients with a titanium intolerance/sensitivity * For patients who prefer a bio-holistic/metal-free dental approach. Today, clinicians are asking tor long-term clinical results of zirconia as a dental implant material. Therefore, Z-Systems AG is conducting this zirconia dental implant registry. A registry design was chosen because it will capture long-term benefits/risks from clinical routine without patient selection.

Effect of Crown Material on Gingival Microbial Colonization

* Prior approval from SOD ethical committee has been received. * All patients presenting to the General OPD of School of Dentistry, Islamabad will be screened. Those patients who fulfill the criteria will be referred to the Prosthodontics department. * The patients will undergo detailed history and oral examination after informed consent (Annexure-A). Enhancing Soft Tissues Around Inserted Implants by Two Different Methods

This randomized controlled clinical trial investigates the efficacy of xenogeneic collagen matrix (XCM) versus autogenous subepithelial connective tissue graft (SCTG) in enhancing the peri-implant soft tissue profile around single dental implants in the aesthetic zone of the anterior maxilla. Thirty adult patients with a single missing tooth, adequate bone volume, and sufficient keratinized tissue will be recruited at Damascus University. Each patient will undergo a fully digital workflow for implant planning-including CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, and CAD/CAM fabrication of a surgical guide and provisional restoration-to ensure precision in implant placement. Immediately following implant insertion, patients will be randomly allocated (1:1) to either receive a CTG harvested from the palatal mucosa using a single incision technique or an XCM (Mucoderm®, Botiss Biomaterials) that is adapted and secured to the buccal mucosa. The primary outcome is the increase in buccal soft tissue profile, measured via superimposed digital surface models at baseline, immediately postoperatively, and at 3 months. Secondary outcomes include patient-reported measures (pain, edema, aesthetic satisfaction), clinical parameters (keratinized tissue width, soft tissue height), peri-implant health assessments, and radiographic assessment. By comparing these two methods, the study aims to determine whether the less invasive XCM can offer outcomes comparable to the CTG standard while reducing donor site morbidity and overall surgical time.

Two-unit Cantilever Implant Prostheses Made of Monolithic Zirconia or PFM

The aim of is to compare the survival rate and technical outcomes of cantilever implant-supported fixed denture prosthetics (cFDPs) made either out of monolithic zirconia bonded to a titanium base in a digital workflow, or porcelain fused-to metal using a gold abutment in a conventional workflow. In addition, biological outcomes, wear patterns, PROMs and time efficiency will be recorded. The null hypothesis is: the reconstruction type does not influence the survival rate and technical outcomes of 2-unit implant-supported cFDP.
