Development of a Mobile Application Called TansiyoRitim for Hypertension Patients

Based on King's Theory of Goal Success, this project is designed to develop a mobile application called TansiyoRitim for individuals over the age of 18 diagnosed with hypertension. The research consists of the following phases: creating educational content, designing the mobile application, and evaluating the application and its effectiveness. Within the scope of the research, participants' blood pressure control, self-efficacy levels, and treatment adherence behaviors will be assessed using valid and reliable measurement tools, and the goal is to support these behaviors through the developed mobile health application. Participants' clinical treatment processes, pharmacological treatment adjustments planned by the physician, and changes in medication dosages will be excluded from the scope of the project. No intervention will be made in the medical treatment currently being administered during the study; participants' routine clinical follow-up and treatment processes will continue within the framework of standard care. Only educational and mobile app-based supportive interventions will be implemented within the scope of the research.

The Effect of Arteriovenous Fistula Care Training Given to Hemodialysis Patients on Quality of Life, Comfort and Self-Care Behaviours

This study will be conducted to evaluate the effect of Arterio-Venous Fistula (AVF) care training given to hamodialysis patients on quality of life, comfort and self-care behaviours. Patient education is one of the practices that help patients to gain self-care behaviours as well as reducing the cost of health expenditures. Nurses are health professionals who play an important role in patient education. Nurses provide patient education by using different materials. These materials can sometimes be mobile phones, videos, web-based applications, sometimes face-to-face interviews with patients, brochures or written materials. In this study, a training programme for AVF care will be developed. In addition, it is expected that the AVF care training to be given to HD patients will increase the quality of life and comfort areas, and increase the awareness and well-being levels of patients in self-care behaviours. The effectiveness of the study will be expanded by presenting the results of the research as a paper in an international comprehensive congress. An article of the study will be published in a journal scanned in international indexes and will be included in the literature.

The Effect of Artificial Intelligence Supported and Nurse-Led Online Breastfeeding Counseling

Breastfeeding is the gold standard in infant nutrition in the first 12 months of life (1). Breastfeeding self-efficacy perception is one of the most important factors affecting mothers\' breastfeeding duration and success in the postpartum period (2,3).Although AI has traditionally been the domain of powerful mainframes and data centers, new approaches have the capacity to put the power of AI directly into the hands of patients (4).Therefore, considering the importance of breastfeeding education and counseling, this study will determine the effect of training and use of a mobile application-supported artificial intelligence tool and nurse-led online breastfeeding counseling on mothers; breastfeeding self-efficacy perception, breastfeeding success, infant feeding attitude and postpartum depression levels. Thus, the effectiveness of the artificial intelligence tool and nurse-led breastfeeding counseling will be compared.

The Effects of Laughter Yoga and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Practices Applied to Women With Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is defined as the most common type of cancer that causes death among women (Siegel et al. 2019). It constitutes 24% of cancers and 15% of cancer-related deaths in women (T.R. Ministry of Health 2020). According to statistics made towards the end of 2020, there are 7.8 million women in the world who were diagnosed with breast cancer in the last 5 years and are alive. It is estimated that one in every 8 women will develop breast cancer in developed countries (WHO 2021). The Ministry of Health reported the frequency of breast cancer in our country as 45.6/100,000 in women in 2018. The incidence of breast cancer is reported to be higher, especially in the 45-54 age range (TC Ministry of Health 2020). Chemotherapy is one of the most frequently preferred treatment methods in the treatment of breast cancer and can cause serious side effects such as pain, nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, mouth sores, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety and depression, and may lead to a deterioration in the quality of life of patients (Waks and Winer 2019, Samami et al. 2021, Sajadian et al. 2017, McFarland et al. 2018, Hamer et al. 2017). In the international and national literature, no study has been found comparing the effects of laughter and mindfulness therapy on the anxiety, depression, quality of life and spiritual well-being experienced by breast cancer patients. In this study, it is planned to investigate the effects of laughter and mindfulness therapy applications on the anxiety, depression, quality of life and spiritual well-being levels of women with breast cancer receiving chemotherapy.
