Effect of Anal Lift Exercise on Rehabilitation After Anal Fistula Surgery

This prospective randomized controlled study aims to include patients who have undergone anal fistula surgery, to observe the impact of early postoperative pelvic floor muscle training combined with dietary intervention on postoperative pain, bleeding, anal distension and defecation function, with the goal of clarifying the value of early rehabilitation intervention in the recovery after anal fistula surgery, and providing a reference for optimizing postoperative management plans in clinical practice.

Comparison of the Clinical Effects of Open, Closed, and Semi-close Hemorrhoidectomy.

This study compares three different ways surgeons close the wound after removing hemorrhoids (piles): leaving it completely open, stitching it completely closed, or stitching only half of it closed (semi-closed). The goal is to see which method leads to faster healing, less pain, fewer complications, and better long-term results. Patients undergoing hemorrhoidectomy will be randomly assigned to one of the three groups. All patients will receive standard post-operative care. Researchers will measure healing time, pain levels, need for pain medication, hospital stay, complications, and check if hemorrhoids come back within one year.

Clinical Application of Dynamic Multimodal Analgesia Regimen After Perianal Abscess Surgery

This study aims to investigate whether the full-course multimodal analgesia regimen based on dynamic assessment (including the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine mode) can alleviate postoperative pain, reduce opioid dosage, and decrease the incidence of complications in patients with perianal abscess. It also intends to verify the clinical advantages of the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine multimodal regimen and establish a promotable standardized pain management pathway. A total of 135 eligible patients will be enrolled and divided into three groups in a 1:1:1 ratio using a single-center, prospective, randomized parallel-controlled design. The specific grouping and intervention methods are as follows: ① Control Group (Group A): Adopts the traditional analgesic mode, where NRS assessment and intervention are conducted only when the patient actively complains of pain (medication administered for scores ≥4 points) without preemptive medication. Medications refer to conventional schemes (e.g., flurbiprofen, diclofenac sodium, etc.). ② Western Medicine Multimodal Analgesia Group (Group B): Implements dynamic assessment + stepwise medication intervention + non-pharmacological auxiliary measures. Baseline NRS score is collected 24 hours before surgery; pain at rest and during activity is assessed at fixed time points after surgery; NSAIDs, opioids, and other medications are administered as needed, combined with potassium permanganate sitz bath, health education, etc. ③ Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Multimodal Analgesia Group (Group C): Integrates characteristic traditional Chinese medicine nursing interventions (including auricular point pressing, wrist-ankle acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine sitz bath, etc.) on the basis of Group B's intervention. To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the dynamic multimodal analgesia regimen, this study will compare the following indicators among the three groups: NRS pain scores on postoperative days 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, as well as 2 weeks and 1 month after discharge; total postoperative analgesic consumption converted to morphine equivalent dose (MEDD); quality of life score assessed by the SF-36 scale; incidence of complications (such as urinary retention, secondary hemorrhage, etc.); sexual function recovery (assessed by the IIEF-5 scale for males and the FSFI scale for females); and patient satisfaction and compliance. The primary research hypothesis is: compared with conventional analgesia and western medicine-only multimodal analgesia, the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine multimodal analgesia regimen can significantly reduce patients' postoperative pain scores, decrease opioid dosage, improve quality of life and patient satisfaction, lower the incidence of complications, and enhance patients' sexual function recovery.

Application Effects of Wrist-Ankle Acupuncture in Patients With Different Types of Pain Following Perianal Surgery

This study is a prospective clinical observation designed to evaluate the analgesic effect of wrist-ankle acupuncture in patients with different types of pain after perianal surgery, as well as its applicability. A total of 60 eligible postoperative patients were enrolled, with inclusion criteria including age 18-75 years, postoperative Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score ≥4, clear consciousness, and signed informed consent. Exclusion criteria included pregnancy, history of needle fainting, skin lesions at the wrist or ankle, severe systemic diseases, inability to cooperate with follow-up, or participation in other clinical trials. Patients were divided into two groups according to the nature of pain: Group A (sphincter spasm pain, n=30) and Group B (acute incisional pain, n=30). All patients received routine postoperative care (including intravenous flurbiprofen infusion, traditional Chinese medicine soaking, and pain education), and wrist-ankle acupuncture was administered when pain intensity (Verbal Rating Scale, VRS) reached ≥4. The acupuncture method involved superficial subcutaneous insertion in zones 1 and 6 of both lower limbs using disposable sterile needles (0.25 mm × 25 mm). Needles were retained for 0.5-1 hour, once daily, with the treatment course adjusted based on symptom relief. If the VAS score remained ≥4 at 30 minutes post-treatment, adjunctive analgesic medication was administered as prescribed. Observation indicators included postoperative VRS scores, reduction in VAS scores at 5 and 30 minutes after wrist-ankle acupuncture treatment, frequency of analgesic medication use within the first 3 postoperative days, and the Clinical Postoperative Urinary Retention (POUR) score at 24 hours post-surgery. By comparing data between the two groups, the analgesic effect of wrist-ankle acupuncture was analyzed, and the influence of postoperative pain on the occurrence of urinary retention was explored.

Application of Dynamic Pain Assessment and Management System in Perioperative Period of Patients With Incarcerated Mixed Hemorrhoids

This study aims to investigate whether the dynamic pain assessment and management system can alleviate postoperative pain in patients with incarcerated mixed hemorrhoids and reduce the incidence of complications. A total of 64 eligible patients were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups, with the specific grouping and intervention methods as follows: ① Control Group: Routine drug analgesia and conventional nursing education were adopted. ② Study Group: Patients were managed with the dynamic pain assessment and management system, which included preoperative administration of analgesic drugs, postoperative traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) fumigation, wrist-ankle acupuncture for pain relief, and personalized nursing education. The study evaluated the effect of the dynamic pain assessment and management system on postoperative analgesia by comparing the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) scores for pain, recording the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores for quality of life, and analyzing the incidence of complications among patients in different groups. The primary hypothesis of the study is that, compared with routine pain management methods, the dynamic pain assessment and management system can significantly reduce postoperative pain in patients, improve their quality of life, and decrease the incidence of complications (such as bleeding and urinary retention).

Comparison of Clinical Effects Between Routine and High-frequency Follow-up After Hemorrhoids Surgery

This study aims to investigate whether frequent follow-ups can enhance the quality of life of patients after hemorrhoid surgery and reduce the incidence of complications. A total of 116 eligible patients were randomly and evenly divided into two groups (58 patients in each group): A. The control group: Patients received routine health education services upon discharge and were then followed up by phone at the regular frequency. B. The high-frequency group: Patients received routine health education services upon discharge and were then followed up by phone at a higher frequency. The quality of life of the patients and the incidence of complications were compared to evaluate the clinical effects of different intervention measures. The main hypothesis is that compared to conventional care, frequent follow-ups can significantly improve the quality of life of patients, promote wound healing, and reduce the incidence of complications and disease recurrence.

Effect of Different Sitz Bath Methods on Perianal Abscess After Surgery

Perianal abscess is a purulent infection of the tissues surrounding the anal canal and rectum. The postoperative wound is prone to infection, and the literature indicates that hip bathing is helpful to prevent infection, reduce edema, and promote healing. Therefore, patients need to use a bidet for medical sitz bath to avoid infection and contamination. The bidet on the market is divided into ordinary type and rinse type (manual or electric). There are no high-quality studies comparing the effects of these sitz baths. A prospective randomized controlled trial was designed to investigate the effects of regular sitz bath, manual irrigation, and electric irrigation. A total of 102 patients with perianal abscess in the Affiliated Hospital of Putian University were included in the study. The patients were 18-75 years old and underwent surgical treatment. Patients with recurrent abscess, anal fistula, mental disease, pregnant or lactating women, and diabetes were excluded. The patients were divided into general group, manual group and electric group by random number table method, with 34 cases in each group. All patients received hip bathing with 0.02% potassium permanganate solution at 41-43 ° C three times a day for 10-15 minutes each time after surgery.

Efficacy of Methylene Blue Plus Ropivacaine for Post-Hemorrhoidectomy Pain.

Revised Translation (Academic English): As one of the most prevalent anorectal disorders, mixed hemorrhoids continue to rely on the Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy as the gold-standard surgical approach. While this technique demonstrates well-established efficacy, managing acute postoperative pain-particularly during the critical 24-72-hour peak pain window-remains a persistent clinical challenge. Recent advancements in multimodal analgesia have highlighted the potential of local nerve blockers, with methylene blue (MB) gaining scientific interest due to its prolonged analgesic properties. This randomized controlled study systematically evaluates the synergistic analgesic effects of gradient concentrations of MB combined with ropivacaine (ROP) following Milligan-Morgan procedures. Therapeutic safety profiles were validated through dual-dimensional monitoring of Visual Analog Scale (VAS) scores and complication rates, aiming to establish evidence-based optimal dosing protocols and refine perioperative pain management strategies.

Effect of Red and Blue Light Irradiation on Postoperative Wound Healing in Perianal Absces

This study aims to investigate whether specialized red-blue light irradiation facilitates faster postoperative recovery and reduces complication rates in patients following perianal abscess surgery. A total of 222 eligible patients were randomly allocated equally into three groups (74 per group):①Routine Care Group: Standard wound care including cleansing and dressing changes;②Red Light Therapy Group: Routine care plus red light phototherapy;③Combined Red-Blue Light Therapy Group: Routine care plus concurrent red and blue light phototherapy.Wound healing time and incidence of complications were compared to assess postoperative recovery across interventions. The primary hypothesis posits that adjunctive phototherapy-particularly combined red-blue light irradiation-will significantly enhance wound healing, reduce edema and pain, and decrease complication rates (e.g.bleeding, urinary retention) compared to routine care alone.

Effect of Red and Blue Light Irradiation on Wound Healing After Hemorrhoid Surgery

The subjects of this study were patients who took mixed haemorrhoidectomy during the period of December 2024 - December 2025 . The haemorrhoidectomy patients were randomly divided into routine group, red light group and red and blue light group, and were given different ways of trauma care, and the number of cases in each group was 105 , with a total of 305 cases. Observe the difference between red and blue light irradiation and routine care on the healing time of postoperative trauma and postoperative complications after haemorrhoidectomy, and evaluate the patients' quality of life and satisfaction with treatment under both red light irradiation and routine care.
