The Effect of Different Types of Mouthwash on Extraction Sockets' Healing

The goal of this clinical trial is to assess the effect of four different types of mouthwash on socket healing after surgical extractions in male or female patients aged 18 years and older who have a unilateral impacted mandibular third molar indicated for extraction. The main questions it aims to answer are: The effect of Bone Bioactive Liquid (BBL) mouthwash, Hyaluronic Acid (HA) mouthwash, the Chlorhexidine digluconate (CHX) mouthwash and Warm Saline Mouth Rinse (WSMR) on socket healing after surgical extractions. The effect of BBL mouthwash, HA mouthwash, the CHX mouthwash and WSMR on patient related factors and their quality of life. Recruited Participants will be randomized into four intervention groups: 1. First group will receive BBL mouthwash. 2. The second group will receive CHX mouthwash. 3. The third group will be prescribed HA mouthwash. 4. The fourth group will receive Warm Saline Mouth Rinse.

Patient-Reported Outcomes of Four Intraoral Suture Materials

When patients undergo minor oral surgery, dentists use various types of stitches (sutures) to help the gums heal. These stitches can be made of different materials, and some might feel more comfortable, cause less pain, or interfere less with eating and speaking than others. The purpose of this study is to compare four commonly used dental suture materials to see which ones patients prefer. Participants in this study will receive four different types of stitches in different areas of their upper jaw after a routine dental procedure. Patients will be asked to report their levels of pain, discomfort, and any difficulties with daily activities like eating and talking on Days 3, 7, and 14 after the procedure. A panel of dental specialists will also examine photos of the healing process to see if one material helps the mouth heal better than others. This research will help dentists choose the best materials to improve patient comfort after oral surgery.

Evaluation of Postoperative Pain and Success Rate Between Lateral Condensation and Warm Vertical Obturation Techniques

Brief Summary Postoperative pain is a common complication following root canal treatment, particularly in necrotic teeth with asymptomatic apical periodontitis. Although obturation technique has been suggested as a contributing factor to postoperative discomfort, direct clinical comparisons between commonly used methods remain limited. Cold lateral condensation has traditionally been considered the standard obturation technique, while warm vertical obturation systems such as Obtura II have gained popularity due to their potential for improved adaptation of gutta-percha. This randomized controlled clinical trial aims to compare postoperative pain experience and treatment outcomes following cold lateral condensation and warm vertical obturation in single-rooted necrotic teeth. Postoperative pain will be assessed during the early healing period, along with patient-reported outcomes and short-term clinical and radiographic healing. The results of this study are expected to provide clinically relevant evidence to support evidence-based obturation technique selection and improve patient comfort in endodontic practice.

The Effect of Time Restricted Eating on Glycemic and Proinflammatory Biomarkers Among Prediabetic Obese Jordanian Adults Aged 18-40 Years Old

Obesity, a global epidemic, significantly contributes to prediabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and other chronic diseases due to its pro-inflammatory nature. This studyl investigates the effects of time-restricted eating (TRE) with calorie restriction (CR), TRE without CR, and CR without TRE on glycemic control and pro-inflammatory biomarkers among prediabetic obese Jordanian adults aged 18-40 years. The study assesses changes in pro-inflammatory biomarkers (IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6), insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), and body composition over 12 weeks. Participants (n=120) will be randomized into four intervention arms: (1) TRE with CR, (2) TRE without CR, (3) CR without TRE, and (4) a control group with no dietary restrictions and no TRE. Biweekly anthropometric assessments will evaluate pro-inflammatory biomarkers and biochemical measures at baseline and the end of the study. The findings will provide insights into the comparative effectiveness of TRE and CR, potentially offering a safe, cost-effective intervention to prevent obesity-induced inflammation, prediabetes, and progression to type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Prosthetic Outcomes and Clinical Performance of Implant Supported Zirconia Crowns

To compare biological, technical, radiographic, and patient-reported outcomes of two types of monolithic zirconia crowns screw-retained to implant. To assess whether the new form of multilayered zirconia crowns will show similar survival and success rate to conventional monolithic Zirconia screw-retained to implants in molar and premolar regions. First Null Hypothesis: Multilayered monolithic zirconia crowns would have similar survival, success rate compared to conventional monolithic zirconia implant supported crowns. Second Null hypothesis: There would be no difference in clinical and patients related outcomes between multilayered and conventional monolithic zirconia implant supported crowns.

Intracanal Dexamethasone Extrusion and Postoperative Endodontic Pain

The aim of this research is to assess the effect of intentionally extruding a corticosteroid intracanal solution into the periapical tissues on the postoperative pain after root canal treatment in patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis and symptomatic apical periodontitis (SIP/SAP). The main question it aims to answer: Is there an analgesic effect of extruding an intracanal solution of DXA into the periapical tissues in patients diagnosed with SIP/SAP? Researchers will compare dexamethasone to a placebo to see if the extrusion dexamethasone works in reducing post-endodontic treatment pain.

Immediate Versus Conventional Loading of Early Placed Dental Implant Supporting Single Crowns

This study focuses on examining the efficacy and clinical performance of immediate loading of early placed single implants. The aim of the randomized controlled trial is to compare between two loading protocols (immediate versus conventional) of early placed implants (Type 2-3A) in terms of clinical, radiographic, and patient-reported outcomes. Null hypothesis: There will be no significant differences in implant survival/success, stability, radiographic marginal bone level, and patient reported outcomes between immediately or conventionally loaded and early placed implants.
