EFFECTIVENESS OF VIRTUAL REALITY SIMULATION

This randomized controlled trial aims to evaluate the effects of VRS on decision-making skills, self-confidence levels, and anxiety of psychiatric nursing students. Students participating in the study will be divided into two groups: intervention and control groups. VRS, which includes a scenario of a patient with schizophrenia, will be applied to the intervention group at the beginning of the academic term, before students start clinical practice, and in the middle of the term. The control group will be subjected to theoretical courses and clinical practice. Data will be collected using the Clinical Decision-Making, Self-Confidence, and Anxiety Scale, Personal Information Form, and Modified Simulation Effectiveness Tool. Measurements will be performed at three time points: before the simulation, in the middle of the academic term, and at the end of the academic term. In addition, debriefing sessions will be held with students participating in VRS in groups of 4-5 within the scope of the simulation process. It is expected that the findings obtained as a result of the study will make significant contributions to the literature in understanding the effects of VRS on psychiatric nursing education. At the same time, this study aims to demonstrate that this VRS, designed specifically for the Turkish language and culture, can be an effective tool to increase the self-confidence levels of psychiatric nursing students in their clinical decision-making processes and to reduce their anxiety levels within the scope of the psychiatric nursing course. The results of the study are intended to guide the development of new approaches to the use of technology in psychiatric nursing education and the integration of technology-based VRS into the psychiatric nursing curriculum.

Effect of Virtual Reality-Based Handwashing Education on Knowledge, Skills, and Emotional Indicators in Preschool Children

A randomized controlled trial designed to evaluate the effects of virtual reality-based handwashing education on handwashing knowledge, skills, and emotional indicators in preschool children aged 5-6 years. The study will be conducted in a kindergarten setting in Istanbul, Turkey, with a total of 66 children who meet the inclusion criteria. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: a virtual reality-based education group, a traditional handwashing education group, or a control group receiving no intervention. Data will be collected using a sociodemographic information form, a handwashing knowledge form, a handwashing skill assessment form, and the Children's Emotional Indicators Scale. Outcomes will be assessed at baseline and 2 weeks after the intervention.

Effect of ERAS Protocol Education on Nursing Students' Knowledge and Attitudes

Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) is an evidence-based approach increasingly used in surgical care to improve recovery and reduce postoperative complications. Strengthening nursing students' knowledge of ERAS principles and supporting positive attitudes toward evidence-based nursing are considered important for future professional practice. This quasi-experimental study was designed to evaluate the effect of ERAS protocol education on nursing students' knowledge levels and attitudes toward evidence-based nursing. The study population consists of undergraduate nursing students enrolled at a university. Data are being collected using a demographic questionnaire, an ERAS knowledge assessment tool, and an evidence-based nursing attitude scale before and after the educational intervention. Statistical analyses are planned to evaluate changes in knowledge levels and attitudes following the intervention.

Child Abuse and Neglect Awareness Training in Nursing Students

This randomized controlled study aims to evaluate the effect of a child abuse and neglect awareness training program on the knowledge and awareness levels of nursing students. Child abuse and neglect remain significant global public health issues, and healthcare professionals, particularly nurses, play a key role in early recognition and intervention. The study will be conducted among undergraduate nursing students at a university in Istanbul, Turkey. Participants will be randomly assigned to either an experimental group or a control group. Both groups will complete a pre-test to assess baseline knowledge levels. The experimental group will receive a structured training program on child abuse and neglect delivered by an expert nurse working at a Child Advocacy Center under the Ministry of Health, while the control group will not receive any intervention during the study period. One month after the intervention, both groups will complete a post-test to assess changes in knowledge and awareness levels. The primary outcome of the study is the difference in awareness test scores between the pre-test and post-test. The findings are expected to contribute to improving educational strategies and enhancing the competencies of future nurses in recognizing and managing child abuse and neglect cases.

The Effect of Nomophobia Levels on Anxiety and Academic Self-Efficacy in Students With Text Neck

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of nomophobia levels on anxiety and academic self-efficacy in university students with text neck. In this regard, the comprehensive assessment aims to reveal the relationships between nomophobia, anxiety and academic self-efficacy by considering the physical and psychosocial variables associated with text neck together. Furthermore, the study highlights that approaches to text neck rehabilitation in the existing literature are mostly limited to the physical dimension, while psychosocial components are insufficiently addressed. It therefore aims to identify knowledge gaps and research needs in this area.

"Productivity Training and Job Stress Among Nurses"

This study aims to examine the effect of productivity training on nurses' perceived job stress and attitudes toward productivity. It was designed as a randomized controlled experimental study with a pre-test, post-test, and follow-up design. The experimental group will receive a three-week structured productivity training program, while the control group will not receive any intervention during the same period. Data will be collected using the Personal Information Form, the Nurses' Attitudes Toward Productivity Scale, and the Perceived Job Stress Scale. It is hypothesized that nurses who participate in the productivity training will report lower perceived job stress and higher productivity attitudes compared to those in the control group.

Effects of Robotic Gait, Hydrotherapy, and Conventional Physiotherapy in Spastic Hemiparetic CP

This study aims to evaluate the effects of three different physiotherapy approaches-robot-assisted gait training, hydrotherapy, and conventional physiotherapy-on muscle strength, balance, functional mobility, and psychological adjustment in children diagnosed with spastic hemiparetic cerebral palsy. A total of 45 ambulatory children aged 5 to 15 years will be randomly assigned to one of the three intervention groups. All participants will receive therapy twice a week for six weeks. Muscle strength will be assessed using a handheld dynamometer, balance with the Pediatric Balance Scale, mobility with the Timed Up and Go test, and psychological adjustment with a standardized behavioral checklist. The study will help determine which therapeutic approach provides the most benefit in improving physical function and emotional well-being. Results may guide healthcare providers and families in selecting the most effective rehabilitation method for children with cerebral palsy.
